Getting between Orly and central Paris by rail.
Schedule
■ RER B trains run every day, including public holidays, from around 05:00 to midnight with departures every 5 to 10 minutes.
■ ORLYVAL light rail operates every day, including public holidays, from 06:00 to 23:35 with departures every 5-7 minutes.
Average journey time between Orly Airport ↔ Paris-Châtelet-Les Halles is 35 minutes.
Average journey time between Orly Airport ↔ CDG Airport is 75 minutes.
Tickets
Single journey fare Orly Airport ↔ Paris (ORLYVAL+ RER B) = €14,50 ; Orly Airport ↔ CDG Airport = €25,30.
Tickets can be purchased at any Metro-RER stations, airport included.
Paris Visite travelcard (zones 1-5) can be used.
To avoid paying a penalty fare you must purchase a valid RER ticket for your journey to & from Orly Airport.
Please note that basic “Ticket t+” used for Metro, Bus (and RER within central Paris only) is not accepted.
Where to catch trains
Follow the RER B Paris via ORLYVAL signs.
There are two ORLYVAL stations at Orly Airport :
■ Station for Orly 1-2-3 is located at Orly 1, Level 1, close to Exit 12d.
■ Station for Orly 4 is located Level 0, close to Exit 48d.
Towards Paris
Take the ORLYVAL to Antony then transfer onto the RER B.
All RER B trains call at Paris whatever the destination.
First stop in Central Paris is Cité Universitaire, other stations served are Denfert Rochereau, Port Royal, Luxembourg, Saint Michel-Notre Dame, Chatelet-Les Halles, and Gare du Nord.
Towards Orly Airport
Board RER B trains bound to St Rémy-lès-Chevreuse or Massy Palaiseau (some trains split off for another suburb).
Transfer onto the ORLYVAL at station Antony.
Towards CDG Airport
Take the ORLYVAL to Antony then transfer onto the RER B.
Board RER B trains bound to Aéroport Ch. de Gaulle 2 (some trains split off for another suburb).
